Major growth programs

Our motto KLAMS™ refers to a traditional split by design technology, but our "ViC for SoC" marketing, with minimization of "on-SoC-cost", and our (PERT) Program Evaluation and Review Technique are applied on a family of microprocessor cores with their paraphernalia of development tools, and the following taxonomy of their peripheral devices:

  1. Memories (ROMet, DpRAM, XAM…)
  2. Synchronizers (timers/interrupts/PLL/DLL…)
  3. Coprocessors (DSP-Whirl, DES…) for 8051-centered SoC's
  4. Converters and Modulators (ADmir-B812, OctAD-16, PWM…)
  5. Protocols and bridges (HDLC, I2C, CODEC…)
  6. Physical connections (MEMS sensors / MEOMS actuators / Paddock for analog pads …)
  7. Libraries (EMBLEM models, Standard cells SESAME™, Reliability and Yield Control Structures RYCS™…)

Central to our strategy is the choice of promoting virtual components ViC compatible with legacy architectures, like clones of the celebrated i8051, etc. as opposed to cores with a proprietary architecture. But since the name of the game is Repeat Business and Learning Curve pricing, we associate with each of our FLIP products an aggressive Roadmap, in terms of improvements of the (PPR) Price-Performance Ratio (speed/complexity or power-consumption/silicon-area) and in terms of extended functionalities: addressing space, bussing, new peripherals…
